GBS Roofing secures gold standard for safety

GBS Roofing has been awarded Gold status in the annual National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) Health and Safety in Roofing awards scheme.

The NFRC is the largest and most influential roofing trade association in the UK. The organisation actively ensures that all members offer high standards of workmanship and sound business practice. The annual awards are made to roofing companies in the UK to recognise and commend their focus on and commitment to safety.

Accepting the award on behalf of GBS Roofing, Chris Pegg said: “We are delighted to be recognised by the NFRC with a gold award for commitment to safety. GBS Roofing invests significant time and resource into health and safety training and awareness. The award is testament to the commitment of all staff in achieving the highest possible standards.”

Presenting the award, Bob Richardson, Head of Technical and Training Services said: “GBS Roofing is helping to promote a positive attitude to health and safety. This assists the NFRC in its aim to show the roofing industry, government and the public, that members have a high record of health and safety which is maintained year on year.”
