GBS Roofing donates services to DIY SOS Big Build

GBS Roofing has donated all the flat roofing requirements to the BBC DIY SOS Big Build in Bangor, County Down.

Using flat roofing materials donated by Sika Ireland and insulation from Kingspan, GBS Roofing 's team took two days to install the specialist flat roof as part of the refurbishment of a house for a family in need. 

GBS Roofing then joined hundreds of people from across all trades at a special Big Reveal day where the family saw their new home for the first time.

Managing Director, Barry Mairs, said: "Hundreds of people who gave their time, products, services and good humour for free to help a family in need, got together to see them move back into a totally transformed home.

“It was an amazing experience and one which GBS Roofing is extremely proud to have been part of.

“Specific details of the build can't be revealed until the programme airs on TV next year but we can safely say the end result was spectacular."
